This video shows a partially completed slice of the game. We intend to improve the following elements before releasing a public demo: BGM, SFX & Voice Acting, Character Animations, Character Variety, Spell Effects, UI Rendering, UI/2D Animations.
Acquiring subsidies funded by the state and the gaming-industry is our next milestone.
Currently, we finance ourselves through private equity. In order to be able to focus full-time on production we rely on financial support.
Our project is aimed at millions of ‘hardcore’ gamers around the world - ‘hardcore’ in the sense that they have invested between 20 and 2000 hours of gaming time into one of the two following games: Diablo or Dragon Age 1/2 (Diablo 2: 17 million sold Units, Dragon Age 1: 3.8 million sold Units).
As of now, the project is in pre-production with a release date set for 2020 at the earliest. Furthermore, Empire of Shadows is exclusively aimed at the desktop-computer platform.
Further details concerning the concept will currently only be shared with investors and supporting organisations.
